uploading images to old galleries

    Hi, I have question about uploading images to old galleries. They are now all in /gallery/’gallery-name’ and all previous are in /uploads/’year’/’gallery-number’.
    When I select in options (Add Gallery/images) one of the old galleries and try to upload new image it wont process correctly. In gallery I can see only name of the file and blank/wrong informations (like uploaded 1970 or what :D) or only “x” in dimensions.
    Is there any way fix this issue without reuploading galleries to new folder, copying them and then replacing all links on all pages ? :-O
