hi -
I've a few wordpress themes all hosted by mediatemple server - where I've had no problems uploading files. themes etc.
for a new new client who uses webfusion I had to create mysql database etc etc. Finally uploaded wordpress and can view the site. But I have problems with trying to add anything to the server.
trying to upload gives me the following error:
"To perform the requested action, WordPress needs to access to your web server. Please enter your FTP credentials to proceed. If you do not remember your credentials, you should contact your web host."
Hostname
FTP Username
FTP Password
Connection Type Connection Type FTP FTPS (SSL)
I have to manually type in ftp password for every upload / plugin/ theme upload
I've searched the forum and tried changing the file permissions. Still no joy. I've over 2,000 ! images to load onto this new site.
any help would be greatly appreciated to resolve this -
webfusion have been hopeless and aren't returning my support question logs.
