   When I set up my site I was happily taking images from my computer and loading them into my posts. They also show in the media library.

   However for some time I cannot get them to upload. When I try to load from my computer the post shows a box with a red dot. When I click on the box I see a picture which takes me to an edit page with text. Otherwise I have a delete button.
   The pics do not show in the media library either.

   What should I do to correct the situation?

   Also, think back to any changes you may have made to your site.

   And check your "miscellaneous settings" in "settings" and see that your uploads path is correct.
