Uploading images directly into a gallery page, POSSIBLE??

Hi guys,

Im sort of a newbie but I know enough to get done what I need. I build a pretty killer site using WP and a theme. My next issue is this….

Im a photographer and I want to be able to shoot photos at events with my camera tethered to my laptop and be able to send those images right to a gallery type page on my website for people to view instantly on a smart phone or other device. But, I will not be logged into my WP site at the time. I will be sending the images directly to my server into a folder via FTP or whatever works?? I have heard people talking about using a Weblog Client, although Im not real familiar with it, (remember, newbie). I realize most pages need galleries, and gallery plug-ins need to do this work themselves and create thumbnails and all that, but Im trying to get past all that.

Is there ANY WAY of doing this other than using a photo hosting website such as Smugmug or something like that?? The whole point is to get customers to MY website right away. We are currently uploading the images later that night of the next day, and I want to try and get a way from that if at all possible!
