When using the browser uploader, I choose a media file then press 'upload' and get the following message.
"The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/xxxxxxx.com/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2009/02"
Have tried re installing wordpress but to no avail.
Any suggestions?

Solved it. With thanks to member by the name of kmessinger.
Thanks for getting me out of an embarrassing hole.
uploads = 755
2009 = 755
03 = 777
I had the wrong attributes.

I tried this, but was told I wasn't the owner of the folders and couldn't change the permissions.
