• I was just wondering if it is possible to install wordpress on the server and then merely upload the b2 database.
I just switched servers, and I don’t really feel like installing b2 again, so I can just upgrade it to wordpress… is there a more direct way without having to reinstall b2?
I also have the b2links hack on my b2, will I have to re-enter all the links or will they just be taken over by wordpress?
    Thanks!

    Help???
    …..anyone?

The easiest way would be to upgrade to wordpress. The table names and variables have changed some, so it might not work if you just import the b2 tables.

Upload the b2 database and all the WordPress files, then run the b2 import script. Shouldn’t be any need to run a b2 installation if you already have the database.

    easy as that?
    wow!
    thank you!
    what about the links???

I think the links manager in WordPress is based on the b2 hack, so they may be ported over too – no guarantees. I would suggest you set the table prefix in wp-config to b2 rather than wp_, that way you should be able to keep your original tables.
