When using the media uploader, if you upload a file with the same name as an existing file it renames the new file in number increments. Is there a plugin, or a hack, that can overwrite the file instead?

Posted 3 years ago #Yes, please! I've been searching for a 2.7x-compliant way to replace documents (Office, Word, PDF, essentially) that have been uploaded via the uploader (aside from replacing via simple FTP).
