    Weird. I created 2 new multisite installs, and uploaded several themes via ftp to the wp-content/themes folder for each.

    The uploaded themes don’t show up under my Network themes dashboard so I can’t activate them. The only themes that show up are the 2010/1011 themes that installed automatically with WP.

    The themes show that they are there when I browse the

    I have a few other multisite installs that have no problems.

    As far as I can tell they have nearly identical wp-config files (except for db connections and nonce) and htaccess files.

    Any ideas?

    Check file ownership/permissions on the folders you uploaded?

    Good idea…just checked and folder permissions are the same as on my other multisite installs.

    Delete them and try to add them via the built in WordPress theme installer?

    Dooohhh! It occurred to me that all of the themes I had uploaded were on the same theme framework, but I didn’t load the theme framework folder with the core files! (So the child themes didn’t show up). Stupid…I’m so used those files ‘just being there’ on all my installs.
