I uploaded the Carrington blog theme to a newly installed
WP 2.7 site using Filezilla.
It is not showing up in the Dashboard - Manage Themes library.
I have checked the cPanel File Manager under wp-content/themes
and the theme files are there along with the default themes.
I tried uploading another theme to see if Carrington was the culprit,
but the same problem.
Would appreciate any help before I pull out what is left of my hair!
Try uploading them with Cpanel file manager and see if that works. Delete what you have uploaded with Fiezilla, then using Cpanel file manager, just upload the zip file in the themes directory and use the extract tool to extract it...be sure to delete the zip afterward.

Unfortunately still not showing up. (Yes, deleted zip file)
Any other ideas - I'm inclined to delete WP and start again??
