hi,
i've installed wordpress via bluehost, and through the cPanel, i uploaded a new theme to wp-content/themes/
however, when i access the wordpress admin interface, go to -Appearance - Themes, my new theme doesn't show up in the list.
it looks like my bluehost account isn't synchronized with WP. or i don't know.
thank you very much for any suggestions.
Can you see the theme in wp-content/themes? Are there any messages at the bottom of Appearance->Themes?

yes, i can see it in the Themes directory in the cPanel when using Bluehost.
when i'm using the WP admin interface, it only shows the preinstalled themes. it's like nothing had happened.
I'm very new to WP so I think i'm missing something.
Basically, i registered a domain with WP. then i registered a host server of the same domain with Bluehost, installed WP, uploaded the theme. and it doesn't work.

That's a wordpress.com site. You need to get your domain transferred to your self-hosted WP site. Have a word with the folks at wordpress.com about this.
