   Hi,

   I installed WordPress, made a post and attached a word document and a JPG to the post.

   I expected to automatically see a link in the post to both of the documents, like in a forum, but there is no sign of any document tied to the post.

   How can I make a link in a post appear and have a link to the file that was uploaded?

   click the attachment (in the uploads box), and select add to post.

   Hi,

   I have attached the file already to the post.

   I just want to know how to get a link to appear in the post to the file.
