   I was going to add a new photo album so I uploading some new photos through the Media Library/From Computer. The photos were uploaded and I added some titles and captions and hit "Save changes". Then it refreshed and just showed an empty gallery.

   I tried inserting [gallery] into the post and saving it as a draft but the preview just came out empty - no thumbnails like I'm used to.

   I can see the photos in the Media Library but I can't see an easy way of adding them to the blog post - there are like 90 photos in this batch.

   Is it possible that this happened because when I started uploading the photos it was before midnight but when I saved the changes to the photos it was after midnight? The photos are connected to the day before?

   Is there any way I can easily add these photos to the blog post?

   That's why I thought it was so strange that it didn't work this time.

   I'm using WP 2.8.4 and I haven't uploaded any photos before since upgrading - not sure if there is a bug in 2.8.4.

   I uploaded all the photos again and this time they were connected to the post - but now all these photos are in my media library twice.

   It would be interesting to know if this has happened to anybody else.
