[resolved] Upload svg "Logo" image (2 posts)

    I want to have my logo be an .svg file (instead of .jpeg, etc.)
    Through Appearance>Customize you can upload an image file, but an svg file apparently doesn't work.

    Is there a way to code an .svg image into the style.css, or a .php file

    I created a child theme of the Omega, and added a background image under .site-header {

    but now it isn't a clickable link.

    Any help on the best way to achieve this would be appreciated.
    thanks!

    Yes there is a way! Add below code into child theme functions.php

    function omega_child_theme_setup() {
      remove_action( 'omega_header', 'omega_branding' );
      add_action( 'omega_header', 'omega_child_branding' );
    }
    endif; // omega_child_theme_setup

    add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'omega_child_theme_setup', 11  );

    function omega_child_branding() {
    ?>
    <div class="title-area">
    <!-- put your svg logo here -->
    </div>
    <?php
    }
