I'm having difficulty in getting uploads to work properly. At the moment, wp-content is CDMOD'd to 755, and WordPress is able to automatically create the year folder. However, it's unable to create the month folder. The permissions on the created year folder are 777, so I'm not understanding why it's having difficulty with the month folder.
I've noticed that everything works just fine whenever I create the month folder myself, but that kinda defeats the purpose of asking WordPress to do it for me. Any help?

By the way, I get the following error:
Unable to create directory [...]/wp-content/uploads/2007/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
I've already performed a search on this error message, and I've tried anything that seemed as though it might work, including deleting and re-creating the uploads folder, as well as messing with the permissions on wp-content.
For the record, the uploads directory is /wp-content/uploads at the moment.

Is there any other information that I could provide in order for someone to be able to help me out? As I said, I've already searched the forums for a solution, having absolutely no luck.
