Upload path errors

Quick question:

I have latest WP installed on my site in:
mysite.com/home

Now when I upload JPG files using the WP uploader they go to:
mysite.com/home/wp-content/uploads

When I “send to post” with the Wp uploader it works!

When I upload a PDF file the same way it also lands in:
mysite.com/home/wp-content/uploads

BUT…

When I “send to post” with the Wp uploader it shows the path as:
mysite.com/home/

And when I drag and drop the PDF into the post i get:
mysite.com/wp-content/uploads/

Both of course fail.

The correct path should be:
mysite.com/home/wp-content/uploads/

How can I get the WP uploader to send to post with the right path?
