   Hello

   I am having a strange issue where my media upload buttons do not work on posts but they do work on pages. I've tried a number of things that I found throughout the forums (disabling all plugins, ensuring that the upload directory is set correctly, removing the "hide if no JS" class, ensured that I am running the latest version of php, save as draft first etc etc), but to no avail.

   Is this a widely known issue? Is there a solution? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

   **note - this is NOT the issue where the images upload but can't be seen - this is a case where the upload buttons simply dont work, at all, on posts).

   Did you try re-uploading the directory wp-includes?
   I always use ftp and that folder gives errors now and then making it necessary to redo.
