I manage my files using FileZilla, an FTP program. Windows only, I think. The way I see it, there’s no sense in having more code around to do a job that can just as easily be done by a third-party application. This way it’s less effort to maintain WordPress.
I know what you mean. I wanted it so I can manage the files from other computers without ftp programmes..
Well, it’s not really a file manager I need as such, but something that allows me to see and manage what’s in the uploads folder from any pc.
MonoEdit might do the trick — gives you access to directories. edit files, upload, delted, etc.
Oh, not a plugin or anything. runs separate.
Working on a plugin for this kinda thang here now, but it’s going to be a couple weeks before I have a beta ready I think. My Javascript is a little rusty 😉
cool, I’ll look out for it Rust, thanks.
