Hello all. I got a problem in data import from other plataform for WordPress. The plataform has a differect location and structure of uploaded files that I need keep. I just uploaded to my server with the WordPress installtaion.
The problem is that I can't access this files. Every iamge that I try access I got a WordPress 404 file. If the file is uploaded is the WordPress structure works fine. How caI solve that? With the .htaccess?
The first thing I always check is something that people don't remember when they move or import a site:
In admin: Settings... Miscellaneous. There will be 2 paths. 1 or more may be wrong, because they are the same as the old site.
If they are wrong... you could try the default setting first, which will be listed there. If that doesn't work, you will need to check and see what the correct path is in your hosting account.
