    Hey,

    I have two wordpress installations:

    ba.kadr.nl
    blog.kadr.nl

With both I have issues upgrading the installation of wordpress itself and of the installed themes.

Somehow I can't get wordpress to connect to my ftp server to perform the updates.
    I use a Greenhost.nl server.

Part of the problem might be that I don't know how to refer to my subdomain.
Should this be the same as my internet address or should this be kadr.nl/ba and kadr.nl/blog?

Another thing might be the settings of the privileges of the folders on the ftp server. But even when I set them to 777, the update doesn't happen.

I am stuck with this error:
Error: There was an error connecting to the server, Please verify the settings are correct.

when I ftp to my subdomains (eg...http://forums.rvoodoo.com) I use ftp://www.rvoodoo.com and then navigate to the /forums folder through the ftp program interface....

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking....

yeah. In the ftp program that works without problem. But I would like wordpress to update itself… Seeing that it is installed on a subdomain. how do I tell wordpress to update that installation?
