Upgrading without losing edits

    Hi. I would like to upgrade to 9.0. However, to customize my daily digest output, I made significant edits to the file, class-s2-core.php. Has this file been changed in the new upgrade? If so, is it similar enough to the old version that I can do a side-by-side comparison in order to replicate the changes I made?
