• I had an old version of WP, I think 2.5 and had to manually install to the later version (I think 2.8).

Following the 5 minute install, I got stuck after finishing step 8.

I went to my site elizabethsymington.com to go to the admin pages, but there is no more site, but a warning saying there is no such file or directory.

My host is godaddy, where I used the FTP server to move over the latest version of WP. I could very well have done something wrong, since I’ve never done this before or even heard of FTP.

    I would appreciate any help.

    Thank you!

  • Download a fresh copy of WordPress and re-upload all files with the exception of your wp-config.php file and the entire wp-content folder.
