Ive been following the instructions to upgrade to the Pro version and when i go into plugins it does NOT offer the option to ‘upgrade’ as the EMP instructions state. I just downloaded the pro version so can I just install it via the add new > upload function within plugins? will that work without losing any data or events that I currently have?

I have over 500 events and I can’t afford to lose any.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Hi,

Whatever this answer is (and it will be that you don’t loose events upgrading to pro) …
If you value your website, you should always backup your database and your wordpress files before you act on your live server.

Even better, you should stage the modification on a local server to rehearse the steps before you go to your live server.

    Does it make sense ?

just confirming that you don’t lose any data when upgrading. Pro is an add-on, so it adds functionality to this free plugin which remains installed.
