OK I read the instructions on upgrading. I obviously want to save any files I have tampered with but my question is what if I overwrite index.php again when I am done. Are their any code changes in that file as part of the upgrade?? I don't want to change it back if that was part of the codes updated in the newer versions.
Also, before I upgrade should I change my blog back to the default theme and disable all my plugins??
