Upgrading to 2.6.1 broke my front page

    I upgraded from 2.6 to 2.6.1
    I have an edited version of Sandbox as my theme.
    After upgrading, my front page is showing completely blank, although my pages and posts display just fine.
    The page is total blank, in that there is no source code either. I tried throwing in phpinfo in various places to try to catch the error, but nothing seemed to bring up anything.
    If I switch themes, I can see the front page and other pages just fine, the issue goes away.
    How do I start troubleshooting to resolve this issue? I’ve tried doing some editing of header.php, but with no improvement.

    I also checked under settings —>reading and set the front page to one of my other pages, and I can see the front page fine. The problem only occurs when I check “Your Latest Posts”. I am showing 5 posts, 10 for the xml feed, and I’m displaying the full text. Anybody else experiencing this issue?

    I had the same blank front page problem when I upgraded from 2.6 to 2.6.1, so I rolled it back to 2.5.1 and then used WAPU to upgrade to 2.6.1, skipping 2.6 all together. Worked like a champ.

    Thanks! The weird thing is, is that I didn’t have this issue in 2.6
    Anyone else experiencing these types of issues?

    Yup, still having issues. I downgraded to 2.5.1, and got the following error messaging trying to get into wp-admin:
    Redirect Loop

    Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

    The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.

    * Have you disabled or blocked cookies required by this site?
    * NOTE: If accepting the site’s cookies does not resolve the problem, it is likely a server configuration issue and not your computer.
