   Hey,

   When ever I go to 'upgrade automatically' my WordPress version or a plugin I am using the page just stops loading after so long.

   It starts to upgrade as the page says 'loading', but then it would just stop loading.

   Does anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

   Are you hosting your site with 1&1, by any chance?

   Nope, I am using http://www.primexeon.com

   Any ideas on the problem?

   A wild guess but try adding:

   AddType x-mapp-php5 .php

   to your root WP .htaccess file. It fixes a very similar issue on 1&1 hosted sites.

   Sorry for the late reply.

   I have added that code to my .htaccess, and the problem still exists.
