I have been trying to manually upgrade my WordPress from 2.2.2 to current over the past week. My webhost sometimes helps me and sometimes doesn't. I've been trying to follow the directions on http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress, but it's not totally clear for someone like me that does not work with such files often. I finally made it to version 2.5 and tried to upgrade to 2.5.1. I deleted the wp_includes and wp_admin folders and replaced them with the new version ones. I also logged into my WordPress and followed its upgrade button directions. Now, I'm stuck. My website now only has a header and nothing else. I'm not sure which individual files to bring over to the wp_content folder and which loose files to put in my root directory (wherever that is). Any tips?

    You need to review Upgrading_WordPress_Extended.
