I have installed 2.7 on my server along with the old version (2.2) and I want to migrate the old data into the new. I purposefully didn't upgrade the old one because I needed to keep that up while I worked on the new blog/site.
Since the db structure in 2.7 is different now, what is the best way to migrate the data from the old into the new?
So two different domains right?

Actually, it was on the same domain but, I needed to preserve the original installation in order to keep the blog live while I worked on the new one. I ended up upgrading the original install to 2.6 and then exported the data from the DB into the new one. Worked fine
