I just upgraded the site to WP3.1 and lost complete access to it when I did so. It is a WP Network site.
I'm the super admin. I have to complete this site by Friday.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

and lost complete access to it

this doesn;t give us enough to go on.

    Lost access to what?

super admin is now network admin - there;s a link in the dashboard on the upper right.

I'm fighting this same problem, however with a fresh install of 3.1. Doesn't matter whether installed as a sub-domain multisite or a sub-folder multisite (tried both with fresh installs to new databases). Once the installation is created, attempting to add sites, or themes, or to update plugins, all result in "Error 500 - Internal server error." When trying to log into the site afterwards, get the same error.
Domain is on 1and1.com, running on a Linux server. Each new installation (sub-domain or sub-folder) followed exactly the steps in "http://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network", and edited the .htaccess and wp-config.php files exactly as instructed.

I cannot access the dashboard at all.
I understand that super admin is now network admin. That is no problem.
When I try to log in the only things that show up on the dashboard is a button for Profile on the Lefthand side and WP Blog & Other WP News in the body area.
None of the administration tools (Plugins, Pages, Links, Posts, Users, Settings, etc.) show up.
All of these were working and available before the upgrade to WP3.1.

  5. Domain is on 1and1.com, running on a Linux server.

Make sure you have this at the top of your .htaccess at your webroot.

    AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
    AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .php

screamineagle1 - Go to yourdomain.com/wp-admin/network and what happens?

Get the domain site homepage, with message "Greetings Site Administrator! You are currently allowing “none” registrations. To change or disable registration go to your Options page." Clicking on the "options" link takes me to the "settings" screen.

    It redirects to http://launchpadjobclub.org/wp-admin/user/?c=1
and am still unable to do anything.

  8. It kicks you to /wp-admin/user/ ... Okay that means you're not logged in as a super admin.

    Do you have another account?

Yes, but not an admin account.
I have tried logging in via my test accounts and they don't work either.

  10. Are you 100% sure this was an admin account? I know, I'm nit picking. I don't wanna send you on some DB hacks without being sure! :D

That ?c=1 almost always means a plugin is borked.

Okay, I'll go in via FTP and turn off plugins and see if I can get in then start turning them on one by one.
