[resolved] Upgraded to 3.3.2 and no themes appear (7 posts)

Okay this is testing my patience just a little. I recently upgraded to 3.3.2 and Everything seemed fine. However, first no images appeared and now no theme. No just one theme... nothing it is just the links. Not to mention that even the visual section is blank. For writing, only the html is working.

    Any thoughts on this?

-Check if your theme is compatible with WP 3.4. To check, try switching to the default theme (twentyeleven) for a moment by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WP to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.

Thanks for the response. I did switch to the basic theme and it was no different. None of the templates, images, and visual editor appeared. Also when I clicked the box where the image should be, I was shown an error message stating that I did not have permission to access that file.

Could we get a link to your site, and are there any other changes you made around the same time, such as a plugin update? This really sounds more like a plugin issue than the theme gone wrong.

The only plugin that I can think that could be causing any problem would have been bckwpup plugin which has now been deleted. I have tried deactivating the plugins and switching themes. No change.

The style sheet isn't loading at all. Looks as if you have a permissions issue on the wp-contents folder and perhaps your whole site. I would give your host a shout and ask them to check permissions for you. I have no idea how an update could have triggered that though. Let us know if they fix it please.

Thanks for the advice. I got them to take a look and that was the issue. Thanks again for your help Matthew.
