   I just upgraded http://kcadp.org to WordPress 3.0. The site looks fine to visitors and everything on the the backend appears normal--except I'm no longer able to add new posts. http://kcadp.org/wp-admin/post-new.php just leads to a blank page. (I am able to add pages.)

   I had this problem in both Safari 5.0 and Firefox 3.6.5 on a Mac running OS 10.6.4. logged out of the site and back into it. That didn't fix the problem. Not sure if it matters, but the site is hosted with Earthlink.

   Any suggestions how I can fix this problem and add new posts? Thanks!

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

   - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

   - increasing the available memory?

   Thanks for the suggestions esmi.

   I

   • deactivated all of my pluginns (Askimet, FeedBurner FeedSmith, Hello Dolly, ShareThis, Sub Pages widget, Twitter widget--nothing too obscure)
   • switched to the default theme
   • replaced the plugins folder with an empty one via FTP
   • increased the available memory by adding define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M'); to wp-config.php

   Alas, I'm still unable to add new posts. http://kcadp.org/wp-admin/post-new.php just leads to a blank page.

   Will re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh WordPress download affect any of he content or customizations I've made to the site?

   Also, I tried to update my theme, Twenty Ten (there was an update waiting for me in the dashboard), but got this error message:

   An error occured while updating Twenty Ten: Could not create directory. /netapp/whnas-silo1-node1/s8/s8/01264/www.kcadp.org/webdocs/wp-content/themes/twentyten/images.

   That didn't fix the problem either, although the Updates screen now says that all themes are up to date.
