   Hi,

   I upgraded to 2.9 today. After upgrading I was able to login to admin (dashboard) a few times.

   But now all of sudden I can't login to admin. this is the 403 error:

   Forbidden
   You don't have permission to access /gurblog/wp-admin/ on this server.

   Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

   Hi everybody,

   Looks like during the automatic update, all files inside the "wp-admin" folder probably did not get updated.

   1) I manually downloaded 2.9. Extracted it.
   2) thwn I uploaded the fresh copy of the folder "wp-admin" to my server. Now I can log into my dashboard.

   Question: is it OK to replace the wp-admin folder as i did without any other side effects?

   Please guide since I am neither a web developer nor a coder. Thanks.

   I downloaded 2.9 and updated all of manually following manual update directions of this article:
   http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress

   Evrything seems work OK.

   Is Ok what I did? Thanks Shane.
