Not sure if this is the right forum for this topic–if not, feel free to move or close it or whatever need be.

So I just upgraded from WP 2.6 to 2.7 .. after a slew of internal server error issues that my hosting company had to help me hash out. I think the Automatic Upgrade plugin did something ugly to my file permissions before it completely botched the update, which I had to re-do manually. But the WordPress install seems to be working for now ..

Except that my theme is broken.

Er .. I am getting a function.require error for the header why I try to access the site.

Is there a new rule in 2.7 for how you call header (and sidebar and footer, I suppose) files?

I tried looking in the documentation, but nothing was explained too thoroughly.

The site is bigmuddyrecords.com, if that helps. All though all you’ll get to see for now is the pretty error page.

Any help will be muchly appreciated. I’ll continue to scramble for information in the meantime ..

    Thanks.

    Oh! Duh.

I house WP in its own directory and forgot to update the new index.php file to point at /wordpress/wp-blog-header.php.

    Works fine now. 🙂

    Sorry about the griping.

Other than the initial quirks, 2.7 looks pretty awesome. I spent some time playing around in the new Dashboard while my template wasn’t loading correctly. It definitely kicks 2.6’s Dashboard’s butt!
