Upgraded to 1.5 -- Cannot Edit All My Old Posts... (6 posts)

I searched the forums for this and didn't turn up anything, and since the rest of the upgrade went very well, I'm guessing this should be posted here instead of the Installation forum.

    ANYWAY...

I do not have a very active Blog, but I do have one main post about a horrible eBay seller that continues to get a number of comments per week. This particular post is much longer than any of my others, and coincidentally, I cannot now edit this specific post after upgrading to v1.5. I was able to edit this post just fine prior to the upgrade. Now after the status bar gets about 1/2 way, it goes to the typical IE "Cannot Display this Page" message (please don't tell me to switch to FireFox! :)).

Any thoughts or suggestions (other than FireFox)? If you need to look at the content of the post (in case WP just doesn't like certain chars at the beginning of a line or something similarly idiosyncratic), the site is: http://www.motherfathercockerspaniel.com.

Thanks for any help you can provide. I can definitely continue on as-is, but I'm a little worried that this might be a minor symptom to a bigger (MySQL) problem.

I'd say it was an IE issue, since I can see the whole post in Firefox just fine. ;)

I agree that it is probably IE. I tried it in Firefox, Mozilla and Opera; worked fine.

Page works, even the full post with comments work in Camino and Safari. Loads fast too. Firefox is an excellent alternative to IE, faster too.

Sorry guys, I cannot use FireFox due a couple of other apps I'm using requiring IE. I don't think it's an IE problem because I'm not having a problem with seeing or displaying it -- just editing it. I hope you guys weren't able to test that function or there's a serious security problem on my blog! (haha?)

All you have to do is keep IE around for the "apps that have to have it" (are you sure you can't just use the user-agent switcher in FF?) and use FF to do the edits. Shouldn't be a problem....
