So I was in my dashboard yesterday & hit a button requesting an upgrade to 3.4.2 (instead of waiting for notification from godaddy which I usually do) - since then I have been unable to access the dashboard of the site even though it would appear that I am logged in (to log in I go via my normal route http://caterpods.com/wp-login.php). The error message I get is "Oops..., I cannot find that page you are looking for, sorry... (Error 404)" and it takes me to a url which is "http://caterpods.com/wp-admin/upgrade.php?_wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2F"
I have searched the forums trying a couple of ways to fix (for example changing the file name of my theme in my FTP to force it to use twenty ten / twenty eleven + I have also downloaded wordpress 3.4.2 to my pc & then deleted all of the current files in the FTP excluding wp-config.php & wp-content & re-loaded wordpress) all to no avail.
My tech experience is pretty limited so if anyone can offer assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
James
