Upgrade to 3.1 - wp_cache_get() issue (32 posts)

    Do we need to copy over the db.php file for this fix to work...

    from this post, it seems that all we need to do is deactivate the old plugin, delete it, upload the new one, (activate it - this step was not mentioned) and then potentially upgrade WP...

    Can you ikailo/John confirm that I understand the proceedure.

    Or anyone else? I am thrown by the mention of copying the db.php file,

    I have this issue in WP without WP-Hive. Never have installed it, never heard about it. Still following error messages keep filling up my error_log:

    [16-Nov-2011 07:25:20] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_cache_get() in /home/*******/public_html/***/wp-includes/functions.php on line 346

    After some searching, I think it is related to WP Total Cache plugin. I found this how-to.
