When I rename the plugin folder, it works partly, and it says I have the latest version installed. Any idea how I find out which of the 30 plugins are the culprits?
First try:
– switching to the Twenty Ten theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. You may need to try logging into your site to get this to kick in fully.
– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
– re-running the upgrade manually using wp-admin/upgrade.php.
Then re-install the plugins one-by-one until you find the culprit(s).
same, i upgraded and it gave me all white pages, then i did a restore but my site shows only text and no design, as well i cannot login anymore, when i go to my http://www./wp-admin page it says 403 Forbidden. Help!!!
Same thing here. 3.1 upgrade worked for an hour then got the text without design, then blank pages. Tried manually installing 3.1 as described above and elsewhere, but no luck. Have lost a day dealing with this and regret updating. How do I revert back to an earlier version?
My problem is theme related, I think. Or a plugin which I use in the design (frontpage slideshow) is bugged after I upgraded.
First, I only got blank pages (no text, no design).
Then I renamed the plugin folder. Now some of the page showed.
Then I updated all plugins and activated them again
Now I have parts of the page, but no articles. Pages work fine. I think it has to do with the frontpage slideshow which I have only on the front page with the news and not on pages.
Everything works fine with the standard theme.
the same thing also happened to me 🙁 helppp
and I’m not using FTP at all T__T
so, if I cant log in at all
I cant rename folders/switching themes/
please help T___T
