I thought WordPress 3.0 has MU built into it?
3.0 has built-in multi-site functionality.
I don't see the multi-user option either. Its not under "Tools" - "network" or "options" (I don't have options)- "network". I don't see "network" anywhere which according to what I read, should be in the new install.
Follow this guide:
Great! Thanks!
You're welcome!
I cannot for the life of me get this to work. Followed the guide 10 times. Trying to enable network on an existing WordPress install. The super admin menu never appears. Whats up?
Quite possibly your host disabled it. have you asked support to see if they will let you enable it on your account?
It seems odd that my host could block such a thing, is it because of the way wordpress interacts with the .htaccess file?
No, they would block it because it can use more resources on the server. Did you check with them?
