I have just set up a new site and had 2.7.1 loaded and working fine, then I got the upgrade message so I figured it was brand new with no posts so good time to do it. NOT! I can upload new themes but every time I try to load a new plug in I get the error message that it cannot be installed because it can't make the directory. So... I thought I'll just upload thru my ftp instead and make the necessary directory. They are all showing as loaded when I go to my network places (ftp) but they are not showing in the dashboard????
Any suggestions please ... I've been trying to get this one up for 2 days now.
