   Hello,

   I went through the usual recommended steps to upgrade my WordPress to 2.5, and I get a blank screen whenever I try to access my blog. I doesn't matter what I try to access - it's always blank. I'm freaking out about it completely.

   Could it be that I was trying to upgrade from a REALLY old version, to 2.5?

   I really need my blog up asap, and dunno where to start. Pls keep in mind that I'm a relative newbie where WP is concerned.

   I had the same problem when upgrading to 2.5. Having done a detailed study of the problem, I finally found the solution. There's an issue with the upgrade instructions for 2.5.1 that caused me to make a mistake. Full details here: WordPress Blank Screen of Death Solution

   you know, thats really misleading.

   I JUST helped someone this afternoon with a blank blog, and it was NOT a case of what you describe.

   So your "solution", for the record, isnt the only one.

   Actually a careful read of my post reveals I list 6 different solutions to 6 different causes of the Blank Screen problem.

   If you know of a 7th cause and solution, I would be happy to include it in my list?
