   The new reminder that shows on every page that there is a new version available and please update now is truly hideous - please someone in charge make this go away.

   Because I don't want to upgrade. The WP versions I installed a year ago work fine. The ones I installed a month ago are buggy and a pain to work with, so I assume new versions will be more of the same.

   There ya go, that's the spirit - keep those security vulnerabilities out there. The script kiddies need practice sites. :-)

   How about increasing security without a corresponding decrease in usability?
