Upgrade questions

I’m currently running WordPress 2.0.4 w/ MySql 4.0.

I want to move WordPress to a new server which has MySql 5.0 installed. I know there are instructions on upgrading here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress, but I think it assumes the version of MySql is the same.

What is the proper way to upgrade to do this?
