Upgrade mixed messages

    Just tried to install Events Manager and I’m getting conflicting messages on my dashboard:

    First message in RED box:
    Events Manager upgrade not complete, please upgrade to the version 4.300 or higher first from here before upgrading to this version.

    Second message in YELLOW box:
    Events Manager is ready to go! It is highly recommended you read the Getting Started guide on our site, as well as checking out the Settings Page. Dismiss

    I think this is related to the update mixed messages, but I’m also getting the following message:

    “Something went wrong saving your event to the index table. Please inform a site administrator about this.”

    Think I fixed the problem.

    There was an older plug in, “WPEvent Manager” lurking. (it had been deactivated, but was still among the choices to reactivate) I deleted BOTH and reinstalled just this one, everything seems to be working now.
