   I have been unable to upgrade to version WordPress 3.0.3. Auto update fails each time giving me the following error:

   Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.0.3.zip…

   Warning: touch() [function.touch]: Unable to create file "xxxx" because Permission denied in "xxxx" on line 199
   Download failed.: Could not create Temporary file.

   Installation Failed.

   Any ideas? I also cannot update any of my plug-ins nor can I upload any images or other media. This only changed recently and I'm not sure why.

   I'm not a web designer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   Try contacting your hosts for assistance.

   Thanks! My host - GoDaddy.com - proved very helpful.
