   I have just upgraded from 2.9.2 to 3.0
   it appears all of my media files have been lost.
   I have checked the server and the files are actually there.

   it appears that the proess has broken the links to them in some way.

   Can someone please help?

   I'm sorry - I had not made the correct edit to my htaccess file

   it is working fine now
