   I'm trying to upgrade from WordPress 2.7-RC1-10041 to full 2.7

   I used the "upgrade" function under "Tools". While it was slow, it did complete and said that the upgrade was successful. But, when I go back to the dashboard, there is a message saying: "An automated WordPress update has failed to complete - please attempt the update again now."

   Any ideas

   Umm...is the final even out yet? On the frontpage it still shows 2.6.5 as the most recent full release?

   No 2.7 isn't released yet. RC1-10041 is the latest ast of 12/5/2008.

   Oh. My bad. Thought I saw a press release that 2.7 was out.

   That was for wordpress.COM that the new 2.7 admin interface was going to start showing up for them.
