   Auto upgrade keeps failing. I have a feeling I'm going to have to rollback to a default template since Fotofolio hasn't released an update which supports portrait orientation in the photos. So, I need to get this upgrade issue straightened out when I have plenty of time to hack at the layout. :-)

   I've tried a manual upgrade and that didn't end up going so well, had to roll back. I wish I could tell you exactly what happened on the manual upgrade but it's been a while since I tried it.

   Error for auto-upgrade is:

   Downloading update from http://wordpress.org/wordpress-3.1.1.zip.

   Unpacking the update.

   Could not copy file: /public_html/wp-content/upgrade/wordpress-3.tmp/wordpress/license.txt

   Installation Failed

   So have you tried upgrading while using the default theme? For that matter, try a manual upgrade to WP 3.0 first, then when that's working, upgrade to WP 3.1.1. You can get WP 3.0 version at http://wordpress.org/download/release-archive/
