   hi all,
   i upgraded a wordpress installation as it was old installation from fantastico.
   upgraded the installation from fantastico, upgrade link, it backed up everything, but broke non-english text.

   I downloaded the latest available version uplupgrade.php
   now i see the posts which are visible are ONE YEAR OLD.

   and the upgrade has strange tables which contains the up-to-date posts.
   tables
   wp_posts shows posts upto last Aug2006
   ww_posts has all the new posts but doesnt show up.

   Renaming tables doesn't helps.

   any efforts would be a great help.

   Typically, that prefix (you showed wp_ and ww_) is set in the wp-config.php file. Somehow that got changed.

   Please review your upgrade procedures.
