Hi everyone. I've just upgraded to the latest version of wordpress. The problem is that my homepage now isn't available. The browser times out and says:
'Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked.'
My dashboard is fine, it has all my posts and themes and regardless of which theme I select, the same problem occurs.
Can anyone help?
reset your permalinks
admin - settings - permalinks

simple question, but set them to what?
In my dashboard, permalinks is set to default: http://www.thebrisbaneline.com/?p=123
just resave them if you want the default

Sorry but not sure what you mean. I've resaved the permalinks but it dosn't do anything.
Not sure this is the problem. I did the upgrade but didn't over write the wp-content folder as this has my theme in it.
The upgrade went succesfully as did the database upgrade. Most perplexing...
what happens if you change the theme?
Look in the root folder of your blog, if there's a ".htaccess" file there, can you open it and post what's in it here?
(put the code in between two backticks, these things ---> ` when you post it here and it'll format nicely)
