   I just upgraded to 2.8.4 and I do not seem to be able to upload images anymore. Also, I cannot change the publication date. Any suggestions?

   I am experiencing the same problem. As additional information I checked that permissions CHMOD are set as intended. The message says "The uploaded file could not be moved to /var/www/html/virtual/...../wp-content/uploads/2009/10"
