Hi,
last week I upgraded to 2.5.1, all was going well until today. When you visit my blog you just see the empty template. No entries, no categories, nothing.
I can't login as an admin or a user, I can't register, nothing.
I checked the database and everything is still there, so is the config file and the data in that file.
Does anybody know how tho resolve this?

Hi there, since you upgraded, have you cleared your cache and cookies, its a good idea, also you could post a link to your site, so we can see if any part is accesssible.

I have had problems with blank white screens and no errors before and wondered what the problem is. Nearly every time it has been the functions.php file in my themes folder. Once that is deleted it all worked again.
The other thing to try is go back to the default theme and see if that works which should isolate the problem to your theme. If you can't get at the admin of your site, just delete all the other themes you have uploaded (you should still have them locally to upload again later) except the default theme. Then see if you blog works.
Just some things to try but I am not guarenteeing they will be successful. Good luck anyway!

Hi,
I found the solution.
When I checked the error log I found a lot of entries that said: WordPress database error MySQL server has gone away for query.
I found then that I had to change the functions.php page, with the following code: http://robsnotebook.com/stepblog/downloads/wp-db-2.5-workaround.phptxt
Then I could fine tune my plugins because there was another problem but now everything is running fine again
